Why
did I switch from
Earthlink?
Let me tell you about
Estreet!

When
I signed up with Earthlink in the early Nineties, the
small company was responsive and friendly with high
integrity. The bigger the company grew, however, the more
impersonal they became and the less ethical, in my
opinion. Finally, in March 2003, after repeated
unauthorized withdrawals from my bank account despite my
clear ban against it, I cancelled my account.
I chose Estreet
as my Internet service provicer (ISP). The small
Denver-based company offers nationwide dialup access,
regional DSL services, and website hosting. Best of all
for me as a Mac user, they're very friendly to Apple
systems, giving Mac users the first month
free.
Further, Estreet's properiary
spam filtering system, Postini, beats the socks off
Spaminator, Earthlink's service. Since my switch, I've
gone from dozens of spam messages a day landing in my
mailbox to perhaps one or two spams sneaking through in a
week. And I have total control over the filters,
adjusting levels of protection and selecting specific
addresses to admit. All spam addresses that get
quarantined for my inspection can then be blocked
automatically. I love it!
If you decide to use Estreet,
please
give them my name
(Ken Freed) as the source for your referral. They have an
appreciation program that also will benefit you.
